Gencoy Sumer
 | Gencoy SumerHe was born in Filyos (Zonguldak). He studied primary and secondary school in Filyos, and high school at Kabataş Boys' High School. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Management Engineering. He completed his master's and doctorate at Istanbul University Faculty of Economics. In 2013, he founded Turkey's first crime website on the internet, Polisye Durumlar. In 2017, he started publishing Turkey's first digital crime magazine, Detective Magazine. Gencoy Sümer, who is the editor-in-chief of Detective Magazine, which has started to be published in print since June 2021, is also the publishing consultant of Herdem Polisye. His stories and review/research articles have been published in magazines such as Detective Magazine, 221b and the Polisye Situations website. Works: |
