Ercan Akbay

The author, known for his thriller novels about the psychology behind crime, was born in Istanbul in 1959. He graduated from Kadıköy Maarif College in 1978 and graduated from Istanbul University. He took his first step into his working life the day he started studying at the Faculty of Business Administration. Following his experiences in the tourism and electronics sectors, he founded a jazz club and worked in various jobs related to art products and design.

Ercan Akbay, who also writes stories, articles and screenplays in addition to his novels, can be watched in various media on true crime stories and his research and analysis on serial killers. He is one of the founding members of the Turkish Crime Writers Association.
