 | Çağatay Yaşmut He was born in Istanbul in 1968. He graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Econometrics. He worked in the finance and banking sector for many years. He completed his master's degree in the Department of Philosophy at Maltepe University. In 2008, he created the character of Chief Inspector Galip with his novel Beyoğlu Dead End, followed by the novels When the Songs Susun, Kill Me Slowly, Kadıköy Murders, Fashion Murders, Philosophy Murders and Who Killed Doctor Ceyda?, which tells the adventures of Chief Inspector Galip. and My Canım Ailem story books. His novel Kadıköy Murders was deemed worthy of the World Book Golden Page Detective Novel Award in 2012. Detective book trailers are published in Cumhuriyet Kitap and 221B magazine. The author, who is a member of the Turkish Crime Writers Association, is married and lives in Istanbul.
