Alper Kıvılcım

Alper Kıvılcım, the son of a family originally from the Black Sea region, was born on April 27, 1979 in Maltepe, Istanbul. Our writer, who was enthusiastic about cinema and screenwriting while still in high school, graduated from history in Turkey and went to England to complete his master's degree, but saved his enthusiasm for his return home. Of course, as soon as he returned, he put strength to his pen and wrote. Although he did not reflect his being a historian in his scripts at first, he has now started a cinema-like literary trilogy by turning his repertoire into a novel in this book. Writer Alper Kıvılcım knows English well and can also read and write Ottoman Turkish.

He has the title of the screenwriter whose scripts have been filmed the most in horror cinema in our country. He directed some films, produced some of them, and even acted in them. THE OTHER ISTANBUL is our author's first book.
