Ahmet Ziya Yıldırım

He was born in Istanbul in 1982, and his life's writing journey began in 2000, when he won first place in the Valentine's Day Poetry Competition organized by the "Aşşk" supplement of Habertürk newspaper. Since then, he has developed his writing career by working as an editor and columnist in internet literary magazines such as düsl e.com . His first novel, OXI, was published in November 2022, and he currently writes detective stories for Detective Magazine.

After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Economics, he pursued his interest in software and received software specialist training. He held the titles of Software Specialist, System Architect, Technical Leader and Manager in various companies. Now, he works as a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft and has explored countries from Iceland to South Africa in his role. In his writing career, he wants to further inspire his readers by sharing his technical knowledge and travel experiences.

He loves reading, writing and playing chess, but he is happiest spending time with his twins. He is married and has two wonderful children.

In short, his story is the story of both a writer and a software expert. By bringing together different worlds, he nourishes his creativity and experiences all the colors of life.
